The Color of Death
Black is a color often associated with death, while White is associated with life. “The Color of Death” challenges the association to be opposite, since not all cultures view death in the same way.
“Ang Color Sng Patay / The Color of Death '' is a 12 page book based on the emotion of color. The Color of Death was intended to be read by anyone who has experienced grief. This book is connection for second generation immigrants and their elderly relatives, as well as a reflection of Erik Erickson’s PsychoSocial Stages: Integrity vs. Despair.
The illustrations are simple, and in black and white, so it doesn’t distract from the text, but still supports the story.
